Contract and permissions

BHCT is a managed contract with a fixed supply. The permissions holders should know about are disclosed as they are.

Permissions

Mint	Nobody	There is no mint function after the initial issuance.
Burn	Holders	Holders can burn their own tokens.
Freeze address	Admin role	Blocks transfers from a given address.
Lock balance	Admin role	Locks part of an address's balance until a set time.
Pause	Admin role	Stops all transfers.
Recover	Recovery role	Moves a set amount to the fixed treasury wallet without the holder's approval, regardless of freezes, locks or pauses.
Upgrade	Nobody	No proxy upgrade.
Transfer fee	None	No transfer tax.

The treasury and the default admin are currently the same wallet, and it also holds the admin and recovery permissions. Any change to the wallets holding permissions will be disclosed.

How permissions are used

Freeze, lock, pause and recovery are used only to protect holders and the ecosystem, such as responding to hacks or theft, lawful requests, or handling mistaken transfers.
Each use is disclosed with its reason and transaction hash. Where immediate disclosure isn't possible (for example, while cooperating with an investigation), it is disclosed once it can be.

Security

There is no third-party audit report yet. If an audit is performed, the report will be disclosed and reflected in this chapter.
Transactions, supply and permission wallets can be checked by anyone on the block explorer.
The website's server holds no private keys. Reward payouts are signed by an administrator in their own wallet.
